BOOKLINE / THE WORKING DETAILS
A clear path to the show.
Know what each step means before you make the next move.
01 / YOUR REQUEST
Start with what you know.
Choose a show, event type, city, venue, date and performance times. A working budget and production notes help the team prepare. You can discuss the rest in the private booking conversation.
An inquiry checks availability. It does not reserve a date, confirm a booking or collect payment.
02 / THE QUOTE
See the whole scope.
Your quote itemizes performance, production, travel and other agreed services. Reviewed taxes and the 8% buyer service fee appear separately. All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
The artist commission is 5% of performance only. Private artist allocations and costs are kept in the artist and management workspace.
03 / THE DATE
A hold has an expiry.
The team can place a 48-hour hold, limited by the quote’s validity. Resource checks include the requested travel, setup and teardown buffers. The workspace shows the exact expiry.
Accept the current quote while its hold is live. Requesting changes releases that hold; a revised quote needs a fresh hold and acceptance. Quote acceptance is separate from signing and confirmation.
04 / AGREEMENT & PAYMENT
Evidence at every step.
Management records evidence of externally signed artist and buyer agreements. The payment plan starts with a 30% deposit; buyers can request a lower deposit for review before signing.
Payment notices count only after verification. Real collection remains gated while the business, tax, agreement and bank details are finalized. Private sandbox payments simulate the process and do not book a real artist.
05 / THE HANDOFF
Take the details with you.
Download a calendar entry or print the shared event brief from your booking. The brief includes the current event scope and production notes, with preparation prompts for your advance conversation.
Calendar downloads are snapshots. Re-download after a change; a hold or accepted quote must not be treated as a confirmed show.
QUESTIONS BEFORE THE CALL
Keep the expectations clear.
Can I change the event?
Before quote acceptance, the event can be revised in the workspace. A change resets availability, quotes and holds for review. After acceptance, discuss an amendment with the team.
Can I cancel?
A request can be closed before quote acceptance. After acceptance, cancellation terms belong in the signed agreement and require team review. No automatic refund or universal cancellation policy is implied.
Will I receive email updates?
Updates always appear in your workspace. Email delivery requires a configured sender and provider; the management hub reports its readiness and queue. Check your workspace for the authoritative record.
